as i write this the moon is at 61%. i know this because i have the moon app on my phone. maybe it's taking up data but i like to be able to click it and see it fill my screen when i remember. the lunar new year was on january 22nd, bringing in the year of the rabbit. i never ventured into chinatown to see the celebrations but last night on my way to a gallery opening i did walk on the glitter confetti still all over the street. there should always be glitter confetti on the street.
anyway
when i made this playlist i was thinking about the moon, about how cute bunnies are and about how it hasnt snowed this winter in new york. the full moon on february 5, marking the end of the lunar new year celebration, is called the snow moon – in the absence of snow, this is a playlist for the overcast days we’ve been having in new york, for opening the windows wide and feeling cool fresh air. songs to play as a meditation while the moon waxes. of course i wanted to imbue a sense of welcoming abundance and prosperity as well, so i added the hertz frequency, which i suggest playing on low volume in another tab. good luck and happy new year and happy full moon! <3
